Rose Bowl Flea Market
I find flea markets/yard sales/swap meets, whatever you want to call it, to be on of the most thrilling things ever. And in my opinion, the Rose Bowl Flea Market is the elite of the bunch (that I have been to so far at least). A lot of people cannot get passed the used aspect or having to rummage through piles and piles of junk, but I definitely don't blame them. It does require a certain mind set and energy to dig for treasure. That is exactly why I love it - treasure hunting. It is always a great feat when you have found a jewel, and the great thing is, it may only be a jewel in your eyes, which is exactly why you found it. There are just endless of things that could potentially head on home with you, along with great crafted, unique items - FYI, flea markets are not just about getting rid of used stuff. Another great thing about these events? The people. You come across the most interesting and charismatic people from all over the world, or city. I highly recommend checking out the Rose Bowl Flea Market and immersing yourself in the diversity of it all, but do not get too overwhelmed... That's a warning!
Highlights of this past trip? Finally seeing the designer Jeremy Scott walking about and picking up a new pair of sunnies. Check out some random images below of the Rose Bowl.
