This past weekend, I attended the Crown Blu Sip & Shop Soiree hosted by Shondrella Avery. It was located in the Los Feliz Estates, which is a gorgeous neighborhood on top of a hill with a great view of Hollywood. This was the first time this event was opened to the public, and I am glad because I got to experience a great event fundraising for sickle cell anemia, specifically for Camp Crescent Moon.

The event had an array of clothing, from fabulous fur coats to vintage denims, along with a variety of other vendors. There was food, drinks, a make-up section, masseuses, baked goods, and a treats table! Overall, a great event and I cannot wait for the next one. It really does not hurt to shop vintage clothing at a discounted price AND part of the proceeds goes to charity. You just can't beat that.

I actually was having difficulties this day looking for an outfit to wear. I encountered chocolate stained clothes, completely wrinkled clothes, and pairings that just were not doing it for me. Luckily, as I was rummaging, I came upon this dress that I purchased a few weeks ago at a downtown wholesale store. It cost me only $6 for a dress that I can either dress up or down! Added my red leather jacket to keep it a bit casual plus my handmade spiked necklace and caged heels for some extra edge.

Check out some snapshots of the event below :)
