Sunday Brunch - Snooze Eatery
I spent this past weekend in San Diego visiting some old friends. I have always considered San Diego a second home because I have spent 4 years of my life there, but to my surprise, I could not remember what or where anything was anymore! Old age hits hard man... very hard...
Besides all of that, I love to brunch! Something about a nice hearty breakfast/lunch combo on a sunny Sunday always gets me. We tried out Snooze - an A.M. Eatery for the first time, and my overall thoughts were it was okay... However, I would not bring you all such a mediocre blog post, unless there was something that wowed me there. And that something is... their Blueberry Danish Pancakes! YUMS!
Here's a description of the orgasmic pancakes straight from their menu.
"Buttermilk pancakes topped with blueberry coulis, sweet cream and almond streusel surrounding a center of lemony cream cheese filling" --> RIGHT?!
The great thing about Snooze is that they let you do little custom sampler plates. For instance, the above consists of 3 different items from their menu, which is called the "Pancake Flight." You get the best of both (or in this case, 3) worlds, which most restaurants do not offer. We even got to try 2 egg benedicts in one.

And now.. a little doggie treat! My dearest Maybe is back on the blog, and she is still the sweetest dog ever. :)
